The subject of UFOs has fascinated me since I was a teen. Stories of abductions, sightings, government coverups, rumors of recovered crafts and bodies. I can get lost in it for hours. In World War II it was the foo fighters. In the late forties it was Roswell. In the 60s it was the abduction of Barney & Betty Hill. In the 70s, cow mutilations. The 80s saw the Rendlesham Forest incident. In the 90s it was the Pheonix Lights. Things began to take a turn in the early 2000s, which brought us leaked videos from the military such as the Tic Tac, GIMBAL and GOFAST.
I’m certainly not the only one completely intrigued by the topic. Hollywood has made billions on the subject. Close Encounters, E.T., the Alien franchise, Independence Day. The Marvel movies feature a multitude of different species of aliens, offering a mix of good and evil characters. Popular documentary series such as Ancient Aliens, Declassified, and The UnXplained have gained quite a following, not to mention an endless array of podcasts dedicated to the matter. My husband laughs at me anytime I’m watching one of them and refers to it as “the same four clips,” since every episode seems to show the same videos over and over again. Not to mention they all use the same narrator. “A stone… 90 foot down?” (LOL. Those who know, know)
The subject has been a touchy matter for decades, and until recently, anyone who suggested there could be some truth to the topic was considered a crackpot. Who knew we’d see the day where the government would actually start releasing files on the subject of UAPs and classified videos. Supposedly, there’s more to come, and with the upcoming launch of Spielberg’s movie “Disclosure Day” UFO enthusiasts are practically giddy while they anticipate full disclosure.
I for one look forward to seeing it finally come out, but not for the reasons you’d think. I have no fear of what they really are, but what it will mean for society. If you look at ancient artwork, manuscripts, and religious writings, the depiction of unusual crafts in the sky is nothing new. There are multiple biblical accounts describing crafts and creatures descending from the heavens and engaging with mankind. Most biblical encounters describe them as messengers, generally bringing news of future events, or warnings about a looming disaster. (Think Noah’s flood, the destruction of Sodom & Gomorrah, Sarah’s pregnancy, Mary’s conception). Ezekiel describes an incredible vision of a flying machine, and there are several interesting accounts of messengers being sent from God where they are recognized as being humanoid, but not quite human.
The Book of Enoch, although not considered part of the bible other than in the Ethiopian version, provides an uncanny depiction of a group of fallen angels who were sent to watch over mankind, but rebelled against God and began teaching people forbidden knowledge and technology. These same “watcher” angels mated with human women, and created a hybrid race of gigantic offspring. Their presence and the technology they brought with them practically destroyed humankind and as the tale goes, it was the reason the world was destroyed by a global flood.
If I’ve lost you, I’m sorry, but understanding the historic record is important if suddenly we’re told intelligent extraterrestrial beings exist. It’s likely to be a gamechanger for society, and will shake the foundation of everything we think we know.
Whatever the outcome, and what ever your view, be it religious, analytical, skeptic, new ager, or something entirely different I hope that before buying into all of the hype, we can all stop and ask a few questions.
Why now?
It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to look around and see how unsettled society has become. It’s not just about religion and sin. Innocent children are trafficked and abused, violence is the norm, the me generation seems to be offended by everything, yet demands the world adopt and embrace their lifestyle. War, protests, disasters, deadly viruses, persecution. The time is ripe for someone or something to appear and shake things up.
What are we being sold?
Is it the government or world elite trying to distract us from something else? And if so, what?
What if they’re real?
Are we going to be told that these beings were actually our creators, and that they developed world religions for our own survival until we advanced enough to handle the truth?
I think most of us will have a million more questions in the case of the latter. What I do hope and pray is that we don’t forget the multitude of warnings about this exact type of scenario more than a thousand years ago. I’ll be happy to provide the exact references if you’re interested, but know we have been repeatedly warned against a great deception. Of someone or something claiming to be like a god coming with a promise of peace. They would impress us with their advanced technology and the world would be in awe at the incredible signs and wonders being performed. The claims would sound so similar to what the bible tells us that many, including those who believe will fall for it.
Can you imagine? So, if it does happen like this, one of the key questions I would have is why? Why, if these things created us and created our religion were we warned in these same religion texts not to trust anyone making such a claim?
For my fellow Christians, the bible is very specific about how Jesus would return. By all means, leave me a comment if you want to know more.
In summary, my friends, I really hope we’re wise enough to handle whatever comes of these information releases. I have a great deal of concern about my brothers and sisters who sit on the fence. Those who remain skeptical. Who don’t quite believe in all of this religious stuff, and doubt there is such a thing as God. Some are people I know and care about dearly. I also know that going all “God mode” will do nothing to change their views. I know because I’ve had it done to me. All I can do is serve as an example, and reassure those in doubt that they are loved. I truly hope and pray that when the day comes, the cloud is lifted. Hey, if I’m wrong, they’ve got nothing to lose. But if what I research is right, they will have lost everything.
I’m sure they’ll be more to come on this topic, so stay tuned!
